A man had slaughtered and prepared a turkey, which he would eat up all alone in the wood. When he started his meal the devil appeared and said: "I am the devil. Give me anything of your turkey."
The man said: "No, not a mouthful."
"Why not", grumbled the devil, "I am the devil, the allmighty!"
"You are not", answered the man, "God doesn't allow that you may do everything you want; you don't get nothing from me."
So the devil removed and the man continued his meal. At his place God appeared. "I am God, the Allmighty, give me anything of your turkey."
The man answered with a No: "Although you are God, you don't act fair. There are too much wars and poor on this world. You don't get nothing from me."
So God removed, the man continued eating and there came another one, the death.
Death introduced himself, asked for a piece of the turkey and the man said: "Sit down and take, because I give to you. You are the only righteous, you take young and old, poor and rich, farmer and master to you. Take place and be my guest!"
